"Vars" is an Afrikaans name that means FRESH. "Sunn" is a Norwegian name that means WHOLESOME. The name reflects our core purpose: creating WOW experiences marked with delicious yet fresh, wholesome and ethically-produced meals and drinks.

The choice of two names ("Vars" and "Sunn") with roots from countries far apart, with a founding company in Kenya, is a response to the rapidly growing convergence of interest for fresh and wholesome experiences in the food and hospitality industry across the globe.
